Enclave bay peninsula models with ceramic glass, Proflame II and 5″/8″ direct vent. The 34 has a taller viewing proportion and halogen lighting; 48/60/72 use LED lighting. Heat output, framing, chase ventilation, liners and media requirements differ by model. Select the same fuel and follow each model’s manual.

The Marquis Enclave 72 Bay Peninsula (MQVLBG72NE2 natural gas / MQVLBG72LPE2 propane) is a zero-clearance direct vent linear gas fireplace with glass on the front and both ends for a three-sided, wraparound view; it can also be converted to a corner installation with the VLBGCK kit.

Its vented chase design lets combustible finishes run right to the glass door opening with zero clearance to TVs and artwork, and Proflame II IPI controls with a remote and Wi-Fi capability come standard. Glass media is required and sold separately; choose natural gas or propane in the options.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

  • Included: MQVLBG72 firebox with Proflame II IPI controls and remote, LED accent lighting and invisible glass barrier
  • Required: glass media (Glacier Ice, Cobalt Blue, Black, Bronze or White), sold separately
  • Required: chase ventilation openings above and below the appliance, using an enclosure grill (front or sides) or a top opening
  • Required: 5 in. / 8 in. direct vent pipe and termination from a listed system, sold separately

Installation Notes

Install by a qualified gas fitter to the Marquis Enclave installation manual. The chase must be vented above and below the appliance, and the required glass media is installed as the manual shows.

In New York City gas fireplace work requires a licensed master plumber and permit. Book a fireplace design consultation to plan the chase, venting and TV wall.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is glass media included?

No. Glass media is required and sold separately; logs and stones are optional extras.

Can a TV go right above it?

Yes. The vented chase allows zero clearance to TVs and artwork when installed per the manual.

Natural gas or propane?

Both are factory models; choose the fuel in the options.

Warranty

Kingsman limited warranty (installation manual): during the first year after installation, defective component parts are replaced including labor at Kingsman's rate schedule through an authorized dealer (accent light bulbs, gasketing, glass fronts and paint excluded). The heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner are warranted against defects for as long as the original owner owns the fireplace, parts only. Refer to the manual for full terms.
