The Napoleon CLEARion Elite 60 (NEFBD60HE) is a see-through electric fireplace built into an interior wall so the flames show in two rooms. Privacy glass switches between half transparent, fully transparent and opaque, and each side heats on its own.

It is hardwired at 120 V (1,500 W, about 5,000 BTU) or 240 V (3,000 W, about 10,000 BTU) and ships with a log set, topaz glass and acrylic crystals, plus two remotes. The black or stainless deep trim for 2 x 4 walls can be added on this listing.

Installation Notes

Frame a 59 in. x 19-15/16 in. opening through an 8 in. interior wall, or a 4-1/2 in. wall with the deep trim kit. Napoleon requires hardwiring on a dedicated 15 A grounded circuit with 14 AWG wire and a neutral; no extension cords. No venting or gas line is needed. In New York City apartments, confirm the circuit with your building and use a licensed electrician for the hardwired connection.
