Installation Notes

Installation must follow the Napoleon installation manual for gas supply, framing, clearances to combustibles and venting or termination details. Gas work and any electrical connection should be done by a licensed professional. This is an outdoor-rated appliance, so the approval path in New York City must be confirmed before you buy: outdoor gas fireplaces fall under the NYC Fuel Gas Code and Department of Buildings requirements, and a permitted installation is needed. Our team can walk through it in a fireplace consultation.
