The Summerset TD2-20 is a 20 in. roll-out drawer that keeps trash and recycling side by side inside the island, out of sight but within reach of the prep area. It runs on heavy-duty ball bearing slides and mounts flush with a stainless steel bracket, with styling that matches Summerset doors and drawers.

Installation Notes

The drawer needs the full 24 3/8 in. of clear depth inside the island, so plan it away from gas lines, valves and the back of a refrigerator or grill liner. The flush flange overlaps the island face; finish the face material before installing. In New York City, gas work in an outdoor kitchen must be done by a licensed plumber and may need DOB filings.

Will it fit a 20 lb propane tank instead?

No. Use the vented propane tank drawer for a cylinder; this drawer is for trash and recycling.

Warranty

Summerset's 2024 to 2025 warranty schedule gives doors, drawers, grill liners and carts a Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on construction, workmanship and materials for all stainless steel parts. The warranty covers the original purchaser at the original delivery site, covers replacement parts only (not labor), and requires online registration within 30 days of purchase.
