The Summerset DD-26 is a 304 stainless steel double access door for an outdoor kitchen island, with hidden soft closing hinges (per current listing), sized for the bay under a Summerset 26 in. class built-in grill. The door has a flush mount return for stucco, wood or metal finished islands, and Summerset's 2024 cutout sheet calls for a 23-3/8 x 19-3/8 in. opening.

Installation Notes

Cut and frame the opening to 23-3/8 x 19-3/8 in. and check it against the current Summerset cutout sheet before the countertop goes on; Summerset suggests adding 1/4 in. Finish the island face before the flush door goes in. In New York City, gas work in an outdoor kitchen must be done by a licensed plumber and may need DOB filings.
