Each duct cover fits only the Summerset vent hoods named on its page; choose the one that matches your hood.

The Summerset VH36-2-DC is a 12 in. tall #304 stainless steel duct cover for the Summerset VH36-2 36 in. vent hood (and SSVH-36). It hides the ductwork above the hood and stacks for a taller run to a ceiling or pergola beam. Per Summerset's duct cover instructions it slides into the space above the installed hood, sits flush on it and fastens with the supplied M5 x 8 screws through the hood's threaded inserts.

What Is Included and What You Will Need

Installation Notes

Slide the cover into the area above the installed hood so its bottom edge sits flush, then fasten it from the top through the hood's threaded inserts. Hood power is wired by a licensed electrician, and in New York City outdoor kitchen work may need DOB filings.

Warranty

Summerset products are warranted by AMD Direct. The TRL Pro manual's warranty schedule gives vent hoods 5 years on stainless steel construction and 3 years on blowers, LED lighting, wiring and switches; it does not list duct covers separately, so we confirm coverage on the order. Coverage is for the original purchaser at the original delivery site, replacement parts only (no labor), and requires online registration within 30 days of purchase.
