The Superior ERL2045 is a 45 in. linear electric fireplace that recesses into a 5-1/8 in. deep wall opening or hangs on the wall, giving a clean modern flame wall without gas, venting or a chimney. IHP sells the same unit as the Sentry 45 and MPE-45S, the SKU shown here.
The R80 remote sets four flame brightness levels, nine ember bed color settings, a 750 W or 1,500 W heater with thermostat, and a 30 minute to 8 hour timer. It can be framed in with combustible materials right up to its edges.

Installation Notes
For a recessed install, frame an opening 48 in. wide, 16-1/2 in. high and 5-1/8 in. deep; combustible framing can run to the edges of the unit, but keep 23-5/8 in. to the ceiling and keep the heater outlet clear. For wall mounting use the supplied bracket and keep 7-7/8 in. to the sides and floor. No gas or venting is needed, which makes it a good fit for New York apartments and condos.
