The TrueFlame TF-VH-42-DC is a 12 in. tall 304 stainless steel duct cover for the TrueFlame 42 in. outdoor vent hood. It conceals the duct run between the top of the hood and the ceiling or soffit so the installation looks finished. Use one cover on its own or stack covers for a longer duct run. It is a finishing piece only and does not change the hood's airflow or ducting requirements.

Install the hood and its accessories exactly as the TrueFlame vent hood manual describes, with the hood at the recommended height above the cooking surface and sized wider than the appliances below it. Hood mounting must go into solid structure, not just siding or stucco. In New York City, gas work in an outdoor kitchen must be done by a licensed plumber and may need DOB filings.
