The Napoleon Ascent 42 (B42) is a traditional direct vent gas fireplace with a 42 in. wide firebox, a log set and a tempered glass front with an approved safety barrier. Napoleon rates it at 22,000 BTU/h on natural gas or propane, and it vents through the top or rear with 4 in. x 7 in. direct vent pipe.
Choose millivolt ignition, which runs without house power, or electronic ignition, in natural gas or propane. Interior panel options on this listing include MIRRO-FLAME reflective porcelain and Westminster brick, and Napoleon offers Heritage, Zen and Wrought Iron decorative fronts.
