The Moderno 2 Pizze is Alfa's compact gas pizza oven, sold here in Ruby Red on the Alfa wheeled oven base. It bakes two pizzas at a time on a 60 x 50 cm refractory floor and reaches 500 C (932 F) in about 30 minutes, with a pizza ready in about 90 seconds once the oven is up to temperature. It suits a patio that wants Neapolitan-style pizza from a gas oven with simple controls, with the Hybrid Kit available to add wood firing.

Installation Notes
This is a freestanding outdoor oven. Alfa's manual calls for at least 8 in (20 cm) from walls and other equipment, 20 in (50 cm) around the flue and 1 m (about 3 ft) above the oven, on a flat, stable surface away from wind. Alfa asks for at least 4 in (10 cm) to connect the gas source. Gas hookup should be done by a licensed installer.
