The American Made Grills Atlas 42 is a built-in natural gas grill with three 18,000 BTU U-tube burners and 853 square inches of cooking area, made in the USA from #304 stainless steel. It is aimed at the buyer anchoring a larger outdoor kitchen island who wants a lifetime warranty and a clean, integrated look. Heavy-duty 8mm square grates, two multi-position warming racks, interior halogen lights and LED-lit knobs come standard, and a sear burner and rotisserie kit are available as add-ons.

- Required: a natural gas supply installed by a qualified installer, a power outlet for the lighting transformer, and a non-combustible island built to the AMG cutout
- Optional: AMG drop-in 18,000 BTU infrared sear burner, 40 lb rotisserie kit, griddle plate and smoker tray; ask us for availability. The Atlas double side burner pairs with it in the same island
Installation Notes
Build the island with non-combustible materials, keep the wall and overhead clearances above, and make the gas connection with the supplied regulator set for natural gas. In New York City, gas work must be done by a licensed master plumber under a DOB permit. We install in NYC, Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey. How many BTUs does the Atlas 42 have?
Three 18,000 BTU U-tube burners for 54,000 BTU total.
Does it have an infrared burner?
No infrared main or rear burner is listed. An 18,000 BTU drop-in sear burner and a rotisserie kit are available as options.
Can I convert it to propane?
Natural gas and propane are separate models. Choose the fuel when you order; the regulator must be set for that fuel.
What is the cutout size?
Use the AMG cutout sheet, and we will confirm the exact opening with you before you build.

Warranty
American Made Grills backs this grill with its Gold Standard Lifetime Warranty on construction and manufacturer defects, stainless steel construction, cooking grates, burners, burner covers, valves, flame tamers, heat zone separators, temperature gauges and briquette systems. Other parts and components, including electrical parts, are warranted for three years. Replacement parts are 100 percent non-prorated and labor is not included.
