The Bromic BH3623009 is the standard low-clearance ceiling recess kit for the Platinum Smart-Heat Electric 2300W heater. It sets the heater flush into a ceiling or soffit with only about 7 in (180 mm) of space above the finished surface, so a covered terrace, pergola or porch ceiling can have hidden radiant heat where a standard recess box will not fit.

Installation Notes
The kit must be permanently installed by a licensed electrician to local code. Do not cut or notch joists or rafters, never cover the heater with insulation, and protect it fully from water above; the standard version must not be exposed to direct rain. The fan needs a constant, unswitched supply, and the heater will not run unless the thermal cut-off plug is fitted in the terminal box.
In New York City, a new heater circuit on a terrace, balcony or roof requires a licensed electrician and an electrical permit, and co-op or condo boards often require approval, so plan the wiring before you order.
