The Delta Heat 38-Inch 3-Burner Freestanding Gas Grill On Cart is the 38-inch Delta Heat grill head mounted on its matching stainless cart, built in California by the Twin Eagles team at Dometic. It is for the buyer who wants an American-made, welded 304 stainless grill without committing to a masonry island, and who may build it in later: the cart doors come off and the same grill head drops into a standard 36-1/2" cutout.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: Delta Heat 38-inch grill head in your chosen configuration, DHGB38-C cart, regulator for the selected fuel (LP models include the hose and regulator for a 20 lb tank), and the rotisserie kit on R and RS models. The cover is included only when you choose the "With Delta Heat Grill Cover" option (VCBQ38F-C).
- Required: a 120V outlet within reach of the 5 ft cord, on a 15 amp circuit. Natural gas models need a gas supply with shutoff valve, run by a licensed plumber.
- Optional: Delta Heat Freestanding Grill Cover and the Delta Heat Infrared Sear Zone Kit (the sear zone is optional on G and R models).
- Also available: the same grill as a 38-inch built-in head, or this cart grill with a black or white color control panel.
Installation Notes
Outdoor use only. Keep the cart at least 12 inches (18 recommended) from combustible walls on the sides and back, and never under an unprotected combustible roof or pergola; under a combustible overhead, Delta Heat calls for a certified vent hood wider than the grill. Propane models run on a standard 20 lb tank. A natural gas cart needs a gas line with shutoff valve; in New York City the connection must be made by a licensed master plumber under permit. The regulator converts between NG and LP, but conversion should be done by a qualified gas technician. If you later build the grill into an island, combustible construction requires the Delta Heat Insulating Jacket. Book a design consultation if you are deciding between cart and built-in.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the G, R, and RS models?
DHBQ38G has three conventional U-burners. DHBQ38R adds a rear infrared rotisserie burner and the rotisserie kit. DHBQ38RS adds both the rotisserie and an infrared sear zone.
Who makes Delta Heat grills?

Can I build this grill into an island later?

Warranty
Lifetime on the stainless steel main burners and fabricated stainless housing (residential use); 15 years on the stainless steel grates; 5 years on the briquette trays, gas valves, rotisserie burner, and sear burner; 2 years on all other components; 1 year full parts and labor on the whole grill. Multi-user settings such as B&B inns, private clubs, and multi-dwelling condos receive 90 days; commercial food service is excluded. Wind-related heat damage and surface rust are excluded.
