Installation Notes
Plan the doors before the wall is finished: the back frame sets on the lower ledge of the fireplace below the access panel and screws to the top corners of the fireplace frame, and it must go on before facing materials. The floor or hearth in front must be flush with the bottom of the fireplace, with 1/2 in of clearance for the door to swing, and the safety screen goes into the front frame before it is hung on the hinge pins.
In New York City, gas fireplaces are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which fireplaces do these doors fit?
The Kingsman ZCV39 and ZCV42 zero-clearance direct vent fireplaces (sold by Marquis as the Bentley 39 and 42). Choose the door for your fireplace size.
Is the safety screen included?
Yes. Each kit contains a back frame, a front frame and a screen.
Can I add the doors after the wall is finished?
Plan for them before finishing. The back frame mounts to the fireplace before the facing goes on, and the facing has to respect the clearances in the manual.
Do the doors fit the ZCV34 or Bentley 48?
No. The ZCV48 uses MQ48DD doors, sold separately.

Warranty
Kingsman limited warranty, as printed in the Kingsman and Marquis installation manuals: during the first year after installation Kingsman replaces any component part found defective in materials or workmanship, including labor at its rate schedule through an authorized Kingsman dealer (accent light bulbs, gasketing, glass fronts and paint are excluded). The limited lifetime term covers the heat exchanger, combustion chamber and burner of the fireplace, not accessories. Coverage applies only at the original installation site in the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, with the unit installed to the printed instructions and local codes.
