The Duravent 58DVA-60 is a 60 in galvanized DirectVent Pro pipe length for 5 in x 8 in direct vent gas stoves, inserts and fireplaces. It has fully unitized twist-lock construction with no beads or hems.

Installation Notes

Use only where your appliance maker approves this DirectVent Pro component. To work out the installed length, subtract 1-1/2 in for each joint (Duravent catalog). DirectVent Pro is a coaxial system: the outer pipe brings in combustion air and the inner pipe carries exhaust outside. Clearances are set by the appliance manufacturer. In New York City, terminations must meet NYC Fuel Gas Code distances from openings and gas work needs a licensed master plumber. Book a design consultation.

What is the installed length?

Duravent says to subtract 1-1/2 in for each joint, so plan the run from the 60 in nominal length.

Do the joints need sealant?

No, unless your appliance manufacturer specifies it.

Warranty

Duravent limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against material and manufacturing defects: 100% of the purchase price or MSRP (whichever is lower) for 15 years, then 50%; termination caps 100% for five years, then 10%. Labor is not covered, and Duravent requires installation by a qualified professional installer (DirectVent Pro instructions, 2017).
