Plan the heat distribution layout before framing: the manual uses all four pipes for the single room option, or the two inside pipes when one outlet serves a secondary area. In New York City, gas fireplaces and inserts are installed under the NYC Fuel Gas Code by a licensed master plumber, with DOB filing where required.
