It is meant for homeowners who want a clean, minimalist fireplace they can finish with rock or tile over the firebox frame, and it can be upgraded with porcelain panels, fans and a remote as needs change.

- Required: 5 in. / 8 in. direct vent pipe, termination, firestops and heat shield. Montigo-approved Duravent parts such as 58DVA-HC, 58DVA-VCH, 58DVA-36 and 58DVA-E90 connect through Montigo's 58DVA-AD-M1 and M2 adapters
- Required: a wall switch or Proflame 2 remote, a gas shutoff valve and an unswitched 120 VAC supply

Installation Notes
Standoffs (7-1/2 in.) must go on top of the fireplace to limit mantel temperatures, and combustible floors other than wood need a wood or metal panel the full width and depth of the unit. Do not recess the unit into a wall cavity. Gas and venting work must be done by a licensed installer. In New York City, direct vent gas fireplaces must meet the NYC Fuel Gas Code and need a permitted installation. Book a consultation and we will confirm venting and framing before you order.

What comes standard on the Basic model?

Can it vent out the back?
