The Wildfire Ranch Pro 42 is a four-burner, 42 inch built-in gas grill in 304 stainless steel, sold in traditional stainless or black stainless. Four cast stainless H-burners and a 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner give you 74,000 BTU across 982 sq in of laser-cut stainless grates. It suits an outdoor kitchen island where you want a large cooking surface and a rear infrared burner that is ready for a rotisserie kit.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: the Ranch Pro 42 built-in grill head in the finish and fuel you select. A fitted grill cover is offered as an option on this page.
- Required: a natural gas or propane supply that matches the version ordered, and a 120 V GFCI protected outlet for the lights.
- Required for propane: a standard 20 lb cylinder, bought and filled separately; Wildfire supplies a regulator sized for it.
- Optional: Wildfire 42-Inch Rotisserie Kit, which uses the built-in rear infrared burner.
- Matching island add-ons: Ranch Pro 15 inch side griddle, Ranch Pro power burner and Ranch Pro double side burner.
Installation Notes
Build the island to Wildfire's 41 x 21 1/2 x 10 1/2 in cutout and confirm it against the unit, since Wildfire notes dimensions can vary by 1/8 in. The island needs the ventilation openings listed above, and a gas shut-off that stays easy to reach. Wildfire recommends a qualified technician for the gas connection, and the manual calls for natural gas connections to be made by a licensed contractor or the local gas company. In New York City, propane cylinder use on terraces and rooftops is heavily restricted, so natural gas is often the practical choice. Frequently Asked Questions
What cutout does the Ranch Pro 42 need?
Wildfire's cut sheet lists a 41 in wide, 21 1/2 in deep, 10 1/2 in high cutout for the 42 inch grill. Confirm against the unit before the countertop is cut.
Is the rotisserie included?
The infrared rotisserie burner is built into the grill head. The spit and motor come in the separate Wildfire 42-Inch Rotisserie Kit.
What is the difference between the stainless and black finishes?
Both are 304 stainless steel. The black stainless version pairs dark panels with stainless, as shown in the gallery; the specifications are the same.
Natural gas or propane?
Choose the fuel when ordering. Natural gas is usually the practical choice in New York City, where propane cylinder use on terraces is heavily restricted.

Warranty
Per Wildfire's Ranch Pro 42 spec sheet: limited lifetime warranty on the stainless steel housing and frame, cooking grids, warming rack, flavor grids, and cast stainless and infrared burners; limited five years on valves, manifold and ignition systems; limited two years on electric and plastic components; and limited one year on all other parts and components, including shipping and handling. Wildfire's 2026 warranty terms add a one-year labor credit for pre-approved repairs submitted through the selling dealer, require product registration before a claim, cover the original purchaser with proof of purchase, and are void for rental or commercial use.
