The Delta Heat 38-Inch 3-Burner Freestanding Gas Grill On Cart with Color Control Panel is the 38-inch Delta Heat grill, built in California by the Twin Eagles team at Dometic, with a black or white front panel instead of all-stainless. It is for the buyer who wants an American-made, welded 304 stainless grill that matches a modern outdoor palette, on a cart that can later give way to a built-in island. Every configuration here includes the rear infrared rotisserie; step up to the RS for an infrared sear zone.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: Delta Heat 38-inch grill head with color panel in your chosen configuration, DHGB38-C cart, rotisserie kit, and the regulator for the selected fuel (LP models include the hose and regulator for a 20 lb tank).
- Required: a 120V outlet within reach of the 5 ft cord, on a 15 amp circuit. Natural gas models need a gas supply with shutoff valve, run by a licensed plumber.
- Recommended: Delta Heat Freestanding Grill Cover. On the R model, the Delta Heat Infrared Sear Zone Kit adds a sear zone later.
- Also available: the same grill as a 38-inch built-in head, the all-stainless cart version, or the 38-inch built-in with color control panel.
Installation Notes
Outdoor use only. Keep the cart at least 12 inches (18 recommended) from combustible walls on the sides and back, and never under an unprotected combustible roof or pergola; under a combustible overhead, Delta Heat calls for a certified vent hood wider than the grill. Propane models run on a standard 20 lb tank. A natural gas cart needs a gas line with shutoff valve; in New York City the connection must be made by a licensed master plumber under permit. The regulator converts between NG and LP, but conversion should be done by a qualified gas technician. If you later build the grill into an island, combustible construction requires the Delta Heat Insulating Jacket. Book a design consultation if you are deciding between cart and built-in.

What is the difference between the R and RS models?
Both have three U-burners, a rear infrared rotisserie burner, and the rotisserie kit. The DHBQ38RS also has an infrared sear zone for high direct heat.
Is the color panel covered by the warranty?
Yes. Delta Heat covers the color front panel for 5 years, alongside the lifetime coverage on burners and housing.
Can I build this grill into an island later?
Yes. The grill head fits a 36.50" W x 9.50" H x 19.75" D cutout, and the cart doors can be removed and reused. Combustible islands also need the Delta Heat insulating jacket.

Warranty
Lifetime on the stainless steel main burners and fabricated stainless housing (residential use); 15 years on the stainless steel grates; 5 years on the color front panel, briquette trays, gas valves, rotisserie burner, and sear burner; 2 years on all other components; 1 year full parts and labor on the whole grill. Multi-user settings such as B&B inns, private clubs, and multi-dwelling condos receive 90 days; commercial food service is excluded. Wind-related heat damage and surface rust are excluded.
