The Trade-Wind L7260 is a 60 in. stainless steel barbecue vent liner, the working insert that goes inside a custom masonry, stone or wood canopy over an outdoor grill. Its 32 in. depth gives a generous capture area, and stainless steel commercial baffle filters catch grease before it reaches the duct.
This model ships without blowers and is pre-wired for most in-line or exterior blowers, such as Trade-Wind's 1,266 CFM in-line unit, which keeps fan noise out of the cooking area. It exhausts through two 10 in. round top collars.

- Recommended: Trade-Wind DPR010 10 in. back-draft damper and a Trade-Wind duct silencer
- Needed: a custom canopy with framing and backing, 10 in. metal duct, exterior cap and a 120V circuit
Installation Notes
The liner mounts inside a custom canopy: Trade-Wind specifies at least 36 in. from the cooking surface to a canopy built of combustible materials and 30 in. to a non-combustible canopy, with solid framing and backing to fasten to. Duct it to the outdoors only, with metal duct and sealed joints, never into a wall cavity or attic. It needs a 120V, 60 Hz individual grounded branch circuit on a 15 or 20 A breaker, and Trade-Wind recommends GFCI protection. In New York City, a hood on a terrace or rooftop usually means new duct penetrations and electrical work, so building approval and a licensed electrician are part of the plan. Warranty
Trade-Wind warranty, per the installation instructions (revised January 1, 2023) and spec sheet: 3 years on parts and labor from the date of purchase, to the original user, against defects in materials and workmanship; Trade-Wind will repair or replace the unit or the defective component. Light bulbs are not covered, and neither are problems from installation that does not follow Trade-Wind's instructions and Best Practices, such as undersized ducting or restrictive roof caps. Coverage is for normal residential use in the United States and Canada.
