The Trade-Wind L7236 is a 36 in. BBQ grill liner from the L7200 series, built to drop into a custom outdoor hood or canopy over a grill. A generous 32 in. depth captures smoke and grease, and heavy-gauge #304 stainless steel with commercial baffle filters stands up to outdoor cooking.
This is the remote-blower version: it has no internal blower and is pre-wired for an in-line or exterior blower, such as Trade-Wind's 1,266 CFM PSD010XL. Dimmable halogen lights with variable light control light the grill.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: L7236 liner with four baffle filters, halogen lights and three-speed control
- Required, sold separately: an in-line or exterior blower within the 6.0 A control rating, such as the Trade-Wind PSD010XL 1,266 CFM in-line blower
- Required: a custom hood or canopy with structural framing and backing, 10 in. metal duct and a roof or wall cap
- Recommended: DPR010 10 in. damper and spare 12 x 14 in. baffle filters
Installation Notes
Build the canopy with solid framing and tight backing where the liner is fastened; the liner has no pre-drilled holes. Trade-Wind requires a covered location: the unit must have at least 3 ft of weatherproof roof coverage on every side not protected by an adjacent wall, and all duct work and roof openings must be sealed against water. Mount it to a solid surface, keep a combustible canopy at least 36 in. above the cooking surface (30 in. for a non-combustible canopy), use metal duct only and vent to the outdoors. Wire it on a dedicated, grounded 120V circuit with a 15 or 20 A breaker, GFCI protected. In New York City buildings, new exhaust ducts and roof or wall penetrations usually need building and code review, so confirm the duct route with your building before ordering. Book a design consultation to plan the hood, blower and duct route.

Warranty
Trade-Wind limited warranty, per the installation instructions: 3 years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, for the original user, with Trade-Wind repairing or replacing the complete unit or any defective component at its option. Light bulbs are not covered, and problems caused by undersized ducting, restrictive roof caps or unauthorized repairs are excluded.
