The Aquafire Vapor Pure Water Softener System treats the cold water line feeding a direct-plumbed Aquafire water vapor fireplace, reducing the hardness, scale, chlorine odor, iron, dirt and dust that Aquafire says shorten fireplace life.

Installation Notes
Per the Aquafire Pro guide: mount the bracket and head to the wall with the clearance above, insert the cartridge following the flow arrow, lock each tubing end with the clips, then slowly open the cold supply and check for leaks over 24 hours. Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need it if my Aquafire Pro came with one?
No. Aquafire includes Vapor Pure with the Pro; order this as a spare or for a second unit.
Can I use reverse osmosis water instead?
Aquafire says no: RO strips all minerals and greatly reduces vapor.

Warranty
2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects (per current listing; not stated in the Aquafire guides on file). Aquafire notes that water that is too hard can void the fireplace warranty in extreme cases.
