The Bromic BH3130035 is the marine grade ceiling recess kit for the Platinum Smart-Heat Electric 3400W marine heater. Built from brushed 316 stainless steel for coastal and pool-side sites, it sets the heater into a ceiling or soffit so only the radiant face shows, the clean built-in look for a covered terrace, cabana or outdoor kitchen ceiling.

Installation Notes
Prepare the ceiling cutout and frame to the dimensions in the Bromic manual, then lift the heater into the frame from below. Never cover the heater with insulation, never cut or notch joists, beams or rafters, and protect the heater completely from water contact from above. The manual gives two alternative clearance-to-combustibles layouts for the ceiling cavity; follow one of them, not a mix.
In New York City, a new heater circuit on a terrace, balcony or roof requires a licensed electrician and an electrical permit, and co-op or condo boards often require approval, so plan the wiring before you order.
