The Summerset VH48-3 is a 48 in. outdoor rated vent hood for covered outdoor kitchens. Two internal blowers move 2,000 CFM at 62 dB, pulling smoke, heat and grease out from over a grill up to about 42 in. wide when the hood is mounted above 32 in.
Four LED lights brighten the cooking surface, cleanable baffle filters lift out for washing, and two 8 in. round ducts exit through the top or rear. Spacer brackets of 4 in. or 8 in. can be added on this listing for extra mounting height.

Plan the hood height before the grill: mounted above 32 in., Summerset says the hood should be at least 6 in. wider than the cooking appliance. Ducting, electrical and clearances must follow the Summerset manual and local code. In New York City, the 120 V wiring must be done by a licensed electrician and roof or wall penetrations may need building approval.
