What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: S725423CD hood with two internal blowers, baffle filters and halogen light fixtures
- Required: two 10 in. rigid metal ducts to an approved roof or wall cap (no flex duct, no damper), a dedicated 120 V circuit, a covered outdoor location
- Optional: DC7201D or DC7200D duct cover (selectable above)
Installation Notes
Mount the hood to solid framing 36 in. above the cooking surface and run two 10 in. rigid metal ducts as short and straight as possible to the outdoors, following the S7200CD installation instructions. Trade-Wind requires at least 3 ft of weatherproof roof coverage on every side not protected by an adjacent wall and no back-draft damper in a BBQ application. In New York City, exhaust ducting through roofs or walls often needs building approval, so confirm the duct route early.
