Each recess kit fits only the Bromic Platinum Smart-Heat Electric heater of the matching wattage; confirm ceiling thickness and clearances before ordering.

Cutout: 34.2 x 9.1 in (870 x 230 mm), per the Bromic Platinum Electric manual

The Bromic BH3130017 is the standard ceiling recess kit for the Platinum Smart-Heat Electric 2300W heater: a brushed 304 stainless steel frame that sets into a ceiling cutout so only the glass face of the heater shows below the ceiling.

Installation Notes

Keep the cavity dry from above, never cover the heater with insulation and do not cut or notch joists, per the Bromic manual. Bromic heaters are hard wired by a licensed electrician; in New York City that work needs an electrical permit.

Will it fit my heater?

Only the Platinum Electric 2300W heater. Bromic lists a separate kit for each wattage and grade.

What if my ceiling cavity is shallow?

Use the Bromic Low Clearance Recess Kit, which has a cooling fan.

Warranty
