The Trade-Wind S7254CD is the 54 inch smooth-front, convertible discharge outdoor BBQ grill hood from the S7200CD series in its remote-blower version, pre-wired for an in-line or exterior blower. Choosing a remote blower moves the motor noise away from the cooking area, and the 32 in. depth covers the grill front to back.
It suits a 42 to 48 inch grill or a grill and side burner run under a covered patio, and it is built in Phoenix, Arizona.

What Is Included and What You Will Need
- Included: S7254CD hood with baffle filters and halogen light fixtures, pre-wired for a remote blower
- Required: a remote or in-line blower such as the Trade-Wind 1266 CFM in-line blower, rigid metal ducting to an approved cap (no damper), a dedicated 120 V circuit, a covered outdoor location
- Optional: DC7201D or DC7200D duct cover (selectable above)
Installation Notes
Mount the hood to solid framing 36 in. above the cooking surface, size the remote blower and ducting together, and run rigid metal duct as short and straight as possible to the outdoors per the S7200CD instructions. Trade-Wind requires at least 3 ft of weatherproof roof coverage on every side not protected by an adjacent wall and no back-draft damper in a BBQ application. In New York City, exhaust ducting through roofs or walls often needs building approval, so confirm the duct route early. Frequently Asked Questions
Is a blower included?
No. The S7254CD is the remote-blower model. The S725423CD has two internal blowers rated 2300 CFM.
Why choose a remote blower?
A remote or in-line blower moves motor noise away from the grill area; it must be sized with the duct run.
Can it vent out the back?
Yes. The discharge converts from top to rear for horizontal ducting.
How high should it be mounted?
Trade-Wind specifies 36 in. from the cooking surface to the canopy structure.

Warranty
Trade-Wind warrants its ventilation products to the original user against defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase. Light bulbs and faulty installation are not covered.
